Get To The Root Of It

The Greeks were one of the first cultures to record the use of light for communication, thousands of years ago. They used torches and light beacons to communicate over long distances. Many of the words we use today are related to Greek words.

1. The word telephone comes from Greek roots. Tele means far away and phone means voice or sound. Can you think of other words that use the roots tele or phone?
